Sautéed Cremini Mushrooms

Cremini mushrooms are packed with fibre and protein, which makes the perfect side dish or meal prep. Excellent over steak, baked potatoes, omelettes, pasta sauce, or just on their own. Here’s my secret to making the best-sauteed mushrooms – season mushrooms like a meat to give them extra flavour! In just 5 minutes or less, you have perfectly sauteed, well-seasoned mushrooms.
Did You Know?
White Button, Cremini, and Portobello mushrooms are all the same type of mushroom.
They are called Agaricus bisporus: the same type of mushroom, just harvested at different maturity stages. Button mushrooms, which are white, are the “toddlers”; portobellos are the most mature variety, largest in size and darkest in colour. Cremini mushrooms are like mini Portobellos; this is why some refer to them as “baby bellos” because they’re just that- baby portabellos!
