Green beans make a savoury, crunchy addition to any meal. This nutrient-dense veggie is packed with vitamin C and vitamin K and provides other anti-ageing nutrients needed for healthy bones, skin and hair.  

Sautéed Garlic Parmesan Green Beans

Sautéed Garlic Parmesan Green Beans are quick, easy, and packed with nutrients. These beans are sauteed in olive oil, then tossed in garlic and grated parmesan cheese. Delish!

Equipment

  • Frying pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 lb green beans rinsed and trimmed
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil extra virgin

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in large pan over high heat 
  • Add garlic and cook until brown. Remove from pan 
  • Add green beans and seasonings to the pan and toss occasionally for 4 minutes, or until soft and black in a few spots
  • Add garlic and parmesan cheese and toss for 1 minute
  • Remove from heat and serve!
